Tayla Kelty

Tayla Kelty is a provisionally registered psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Masters in Forensic Mental Health.

Tayla was drawn to psychology by her passion for connecting with others and a deep curiosity for the human condition. Tayla enjoys working with children, adolescents and parents to navigate and overcome current stressors and challenges. Tayla has worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, emotion regulation and behavioural challenges, social problem solving challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, school related and self-esteem related difficulties and parenting support.  She has a particular passion and interest for conducting psychological assessments including assessments for cognition, learning and achievement, ADHD and Autism.

Tayla is a curious, authentic, and caring clinician who uses a mix of modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and play based, strengths based and trauma informed approaches to therapy. She considers her practice to be holistic and individualized to each client, the therapeutic environment is both fun and playful and also grounded, respectful and focused.

Tayla loves to travel and has visited over 25 countries and lived overseas for 3 years.
