Stella Boyd-Ford

Stella is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. She has completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences and a Master of Dietetics Studies, and has been awarded the ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential.

Stella’s treatment approach is centered around the pillars of cultural safety, neuroaffirming practice and evidence based treatment.

She has a special interest in working with children and adolescents who are neurodivergent. She has received training in Responsive Feeding Therapy, Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to feeding, and in treating children and young people with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

She is passionate about working towards culturally safe care in all areas of dietetics, and has extensive experience partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across remote, regional and urban areas.

Stella can support families to manage:

  • General feeding and eating difficulties associated with ADHD and Autism
  • Home enteral nutrition (tube feeding)
  • Paediatric Feeding Disorder
  • Eating disorders, including ARFID
  • Faltering growth
  • Micronutrient deficiencies, including iron deficiency
  • Allergies and intolerances

Stella is able to see infants, children and adolescents from birth to 18 years, and young adults over 18 on a case-by-case basis.
