Lily Gibson

Lily is a Psychologist dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. With formal qualifications including a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and a Master of Professional Psychology, Lily brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.

As a member of the Australian Psychology Society (APS), Lily is committed to staying current in her field and has completed specialised training, including the Cool Kids Anxiety Program. Her passion for psychology stems from a belief in the privilege of providing intervention and assessment to support the mental health and wellbeing of her clients.

Lily’s practice focuses on working with children and adolescents facing challenges such as ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and depressive disorders. She collaborates closely with parents and schools to ensure holistic support for her clients across all areas of their lives.

Lily is also trained and accredited by Macquarie University’s Emotional Health Clinic to deliver the Cool Kids Anxiety Program which is a structured program that teaches children aged 7-17 years of age and their parents how to better manage a child’s anxiety.

What drives Lily in her role is witnessing the progress and growth of her clients as they navigate their mental health journey. She believes that psychology plays a crucial role in promoting children’s and adolescents’ wellbeing by understanding their development, identifying disorders, providing intervention, and supporting educational success.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends and taking her dog for long walks.
