Some FAQs about appointments

If you’re coming for your initial appointment with one of our Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists or Dieticians all you’ll need to being to the appointment is yourself and your child. The first appointment is usually focused on sharing information and initial observations. If you or your child do already use any equipment or aids we always appreciate knowing about these too.

If you’re seeing one of our Psychologists or Provisional Psychologists the first appointment is usually with just the parents without the child present.

We do always appreciate if you can bring any previous reports along to the first session, if you are happy to share those with our team.

No. Although a referral from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist may entitle to you Medicare rebates which can contribute to the cost of sessions.
