Samantha grew up in a small regional town in North Queensland, where limited access to allied health services sparked her passion for ensuring these resources are available to everyone. Initially pursuing a Bachelor of Science at university, she explored various electives before discovering her true calling in psychology. From her very first psychology course, Samantha knew she had found the discipline she wanted to dedicate her career to. She now holds a Master of Professional Psychology (UNE) and Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours) (UQ).
Specialising in developmental psychology, Samantha has a particular interest in neurodiversity. During her Honours year, she completed a placement focused on working with neurodiverse children and developing a neurodiversity-affirming framework, further cementing her dedication to this area. Samantha is also passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ youth, helping them feel safe and confident in their identities.
With a commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment, Samantha strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and communities she serves.
